Form of workWe're looking for a Site Agent to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team on our Severn Trent Water Framework.
Location: - Rainworth WwTW, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Permanent- Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
Responsibilities
As Site Agent, you'll be responsible for the supervision of the workforce for the Rainworth wastewater treatment works. Within the role you'll work on capital projects within the water industry, working on upgrade and resilience of wastewater treatment sites.
Your day to day will include:
- Lead a team of subcontractors to deliver the work safely without environmental incidents, and to the specified quality
- Ensure implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITP's and approval of supply chain RAMS plus other Safe Systems of Works, when specified, in line with Company procedures
- Input and awareness of construction programme and working alongside the project planner and Project Manager
- Delivery of site inductions, issuing of permits/forms and daily briefings (including toolbox talks) and record keeping (e.g site diaries and quality records)
- Undertaking weekly site audits and documenting and issuing RFI's in collaboration with the project manager
- Chair site meetings and report weekly to the project manager on site progress
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Agent is great for you if you hold:
- Extensive experience in the construction industry
- Substantial knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting
- Good knowledge in producing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for task specific activities
- CSCS Card
