Our client a school, based in High Wycombe is looking for a Site Assistant to join them on a temporary basis.
This is a full time role, Monday - Friday and the ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the school is opened for the morning and locked up for the afternoon
- Ensure the school is open for private lettings
- Undertake traffic management at the school gate
- Understand the fire and health and safety regulations in place
- Ensure heating and boiler systems are maintained and kept tidy and keen to maintain optimum temperature
- Ensure all internal and external lighting is in order
- Undertake fire risk assessments
- Maintain and clean and tidy site
- Ensure access is available at all times e.g. in times of snow and ice
- Communicate with all contractors on site
