SalarySite Engineer/Setting Out Engineer
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: £32,000 - £55,000 (Depending on Level)
MGR Recruitment are fortunate to be representing a Yorkshire based Surveying and Engineering practice.
As a Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer, you will play a pivotal role working on a variety of different projects in Yorkshire and beyond. The company are a medium sized practice who have been in business for the last 10 years. They work a variety of small to medium sized projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Setting out work in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Undertake Topographical surveys and Control networks
- Use of survey equipment
- Review best engineering/surveying options
- Checking and the setting out of other contractor’s work
- Quality assurance/RFI’s
- As-Built Survey’s
- Assisting with material take offs
- Ensuring health and safety compliance
- Preparing reports
Qualifications and Experience needed:
- A valid CSCS card is a mandatory requirement
- Proven experience working as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
- Proficiency in the use of surveying instruments
