Rate is £280 - £340 per day depending on experience & supplying kit
We are working on behalf of a successful civil engineering contractor who are seeing great success in expanding their workload and pipeline in the Northeast,
With a further project win in Sunderland, they are seeking an experienced Setting out Engineer to control and lead all setting out activities for the External Works on a new build development.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute on-Site Engineering tasks, including levelling, surveying and setting out.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Ensure all setting out activities are carried out in relation to plans and drawings
* Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical support.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
* Adhere to safety standards and quality control measures.
* Solve technical queries
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience working with Civil Engineering and Groundworks Sub Contractors on new build developments, specifically External Works.
* A relevant Degree / HND or HNC in Civil Engineering
* CSCS Card
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage & trouble-shoot technical issues & meet deadlines
Remuneration
* This is a freelance position and you will be engaged through Search Consultancy for the duration of the project.
* The rate is negotiable depending on experience and whether you can supply kit; £280-£340 per day
* Outside IR35 Status is available following an assessment.
