We are partnered with a tier 1 Main Contractor seeking a highly skilled individual to join their team and play a key role in the successful delivery of a prestigious construction project.
As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site
- Rebar checks
- Gridline checks
- Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Coordinate and manage construction activities in collaboration with the project management team
- Set out and survey the site as required
- Monitor and report on progress and quality of work
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Resolve any technical issues that may arise on site
- Keep accurate records of site activities and progress
- Assist in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and other project documentation
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team
- Contribute to the successful delivery of the project on time and within budge
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working as a Site Engineer on large-scale construction projects, with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction techniques. You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
