Michael Page is working with working with a North Cheshire based blue chip leading brand to recruit a Site Maintenance Manager. This is a highly successful global FMCG manufacturer and household name who supply a range of market leading products to a large customer base across the UK and internationally.
Job Description
Reporting into the Group Engineering Director, this role will lead all site Engineering strategy across a complex, fast paced manufacturing operation. The role will be tasked with delivering significant capacity improvement and high level process development working closely with the Site Director. Leading a highly capable team of engineers, the Site Maintenance Manager will play an important managerial role in the development of a high performance culture.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Manage, lead and mentor the Engineering Team
- Lead the deployment and sustainable implementation of site MMS Asset Care processes
- Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability through reliability centred maintenance
- Lead the engineering function to provide engineering expertise across the site and support operational teams resolve complex equipment problems
- Drive continuous improvement methodology through competing RCA's and driving Kaizan, 5's and TPM methodology
- Ensure Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental processes and legislations are adhered to
- Budgetary Management
- Actively identify Capex opportunities and deliver agreed projects on time, in budget with wider team
- Identify skill gaps, mentor, train and develop engineering staff to maximum potential
- Drive improvement through change management across people and process

The successful Site Maintenance Manager will possess the following:
- A strong leadership background in Engineering
- Working examples of capacity and process development in a manufacturing environment

- Analytical and strategic thinking with a keen eye for data metrics
