This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week). The working hours are largely Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm, but as a visitor business we do have to adapt to the programme of events and visitor demand, so some weekend, bank holiday and evening working is required. Click here for more information about this location What you'll be doing Day to day, you’ll manage and be accountable for the operations on-site at The Heritage and Rural Skills Centre, and will be responsible for the welcome at 3 small car parks on the estate, White Horse Hill, Badbury & Buscot Weir. You'll be part of the Property Leadership team for the Portfolio, working closely with the Visitor Operations & Experience Manager (the Line Manager for this role).You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of The Heritage and Rural Skills Centre and you’ll line manage a small team of staff and volunteers to ensure that visitors receive the best experience possible. You'll have responsibility for everything from Health & Safety and compliance through to presentation, volunteer management and accountability for elements of the commercial performance of the property – amongst other things!
