Site Manager

Are you an experienced Site Manager seeking a new challenge? Contract Scotland has an excellent new opportunity for a Site Manager to work alongside one of our Contractors on a Nuclear project for up to 9 months.

What you can expect from your role as Site Manager:

• Location: Somerset, England.
• Tax Payment Methods Available: PAYE, CIS, and Ltd.
• Duration: 9 months (potential for this to be extended).
• Start date: 8th January 2024.

Daily duties:

• Ensure site safety.
• Conduct regular inspections.
• Develop/update project plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors.
• Communicate with the team.
• Ensure work meets standards.
• Implement quality procedures.
• Manage labour, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Address and resolve site issues.
• Proactively manage challenges.
• Manage subcontractor contracts.
• Resolve disputes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Implement environmental plans.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Keep clients informed.
• Provide leadership to the team.
• Motivate and manage personnel.

Requirements:

• National Grid Persons trained minimum.
• Valid SMSTS card is essential.
• Valid CSCS card is essential.
• First Aid trained is essential.
• Temporary Works Supervisor Training is advantageous.
• Active DBS / Disclosure Scotland check from the last 6 months is essential.
• HV Cable and Civils experience is crucial.
