Site Manager

Due to a business growth Time 4 Recruitment have a great opportunity for a Temporary Site Manager in Chelmsford for up to 12 months work  - to join an expanding, high reputable, award winning residential development company who build exceptional quality homes in desirable areas of the UK.

This is a 12 month project in Chelmsford which will involve the construction of 26 Flats – o which 15 are ground floor and 9 top floor which will include a 100 ton steel structure to fit out..

As Temporary Site Manager you will report to the Contracts Manager and Company Director and you will oversee the construction of the flats from beginning to handover.

As Site Manager you will have the enthusiasm and drive with a focus to push business sales. Forward planning and attention to detail are crucial to success in this role!!!

Key Responsibilities:
You main role as Site Manager will be to manage all aspects of the delivery of a project in line with Company Policy's and processes, paying particular attention to Health and Safety. You will plan to deliver all aspects of each project within the agreed timescales - communicating issues as they arise in a positive and timely manner and implementing the response to minimise disruption and delay together with cost. You will lead the liaison between all parties (client, statutory bodies, Consultants, Sub contractors, Site Operatives and Supervisors and the Site Management and Contracts Manager) and ·ensure adequate supervision, labour and materials are resourced. You will regularly update the current specification and drawings are issued and adhered and regularly communicate progress / issues relating to the delivery of projects to the Construction Director.  It is vital you take fully responsibility for ensuring the safety and welfare of all who may come into contact with the clients operations during the

Experience and Certificates Required

• Must have experience of new build steel structures
• SMSTS Qualified / Certificate
• Fire Marshal certificate
•  First Aid 3-day qualified
•  CSCS skill card Holder
• Competent using Microsoft Project
