Main tasks:
- Carry out routine inspections on a variety of assets - logging any findings
- Write detailed reports flagging any security, health and safety or grounds maintenance issues
- Analyse and assess current security systems and measures in place giving recommendations on improving security and minimising risk
- Raising tickets for remedial works with Councils helpdesk and liaising with 3rd party contractors
- Liaising with Grounds Maintenance team to ensure are well maintained.
- Collecting data and photographic evidence from sites e.g., damage or meter readings
- Ad hoc chaperoning of Herts Council and associates around different sites
- Log and track security metrics – alarm activations or breaches on assets
- Assist and arrange handovers of properties.
- Point of contact for external security firm and responding to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences.
- Maintain regular communications with other Security Consultants, Facilities Manager and external security firm, applying correct escalation processes where appropriate.
