Site Manager

Randstad are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Manager to join our team for a Steel Frame project. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction site operations, managing subcontractors, coordinating resources, and ensuring the successful completion of the project on schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in commercial construction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the construction site, including safety, quality, and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring their adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Plan, organise, and manage resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to achieve project milestones and objectives.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all workers on site.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during construction, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites, as required.
