- Ensure adherence to Health & Safety protocols on site at all times.
- Oversee day-to-day site management for fast-paced fit-out projects spanning 4 to 20 weeks.
- Manage subcontractors to ensure they possess necessary resources and deliver high-quality craftsmanship.
- Collaborate closely with the project manager to ensure timely and top-quality project completion.
- Utilize efficient software for site administration (training provided).
- Interpret drawings and plans to provide actionable guidance to site-based staff and subcontractors.
- Plan ahead to facilitate effective coordination of labor and materials on site.
- Coordinate material and equipment procurement, liaising with the Purchasing Administrator.
- Regular travel to sites in ROI and GB is a fundamental aspect of this role.
The Person
- Effective communication skills, both internally and with external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing fit-out projects ranging from £100k to £1m.
- Preferably, background in joinery and cabinet-making.
- Possession of CSCS Site Supervisor Card (or equivalent) and First Aid Training Card.
- Comfortable leading while working within a team framework.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to exceptional quality.
- Proficient in managing subcontractors and trades.
- Willingness to travel and accommodate week-long stays.
- Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work to meet project deadlines.
- Valid full driving license.
