We are seeking a dedicated School Site Manager to join our team at a reputable educational institution. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our fabulous grounds, maintaining a safe and optimal learning environment that our children, staff, and community can be proud of.
Day to Day of the Role:- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs, safety concerns, and cleanliness throughout the school.
- Take a proactive approach to prevent potential issues and maintain a secure learning environment.
- Manage maintenance requests, equipment inventory, contractor work, and necessary supplies efficiently.
- Address urgent maintenance issues promptly while also planning and executing preventative maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with other staff to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure the overall functionality of the school facility.
- Meticulous attention to detail and competence in basic trade standard skills.
- Organisational skills to manage maintenance systems and keep accurate records.
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft systems for email and communication is desirable.
- Experience in a similar role within an educational or other site setting is advantageous.
- Basic trade skills and a general understanding of UK health and safety regulations.
- Desirable qualifications include a General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, First Aid at Work Certification, and familiarity with COSHH regulations and fire safety protocols.
