About the role:
Astute’s renewables team is exclusively partnering with an independent consultant and service provider within renewable energy to recruit a Site Manager in the Cambridge/Peterborough/Ipswich area.
The aim of the Site Manager role is to support the operations of battery storage and wind project within the Cambridge/Peterborough/Ipswich area. This role comes with a salary of up to �45,000.

Responsibilities and duties:
The Site Manager will:
* Develop and manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
* Oversee the operations and maintenance of electrical distribution systems.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
* Complete site inspections, ensuring health and safety regulations are being adhered to.
* Report any accidents and incidents, ensuring correct documentation and actions are managed
* Attend project operations meetings
* Manage site activities, including budgets, timesheets and monthly reports
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
* An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Engineering field of study – mechanical, electrical or other
* Not essential but ideally completed Health and Safety Qualifications such as IOSH OR NEBOSH
* A strong background in maintenance or operations of renewable energy, plant, machinery or equipment or similar would be a strong advantage
* We are welcoming candidates with a background in renewables, military or large industrial experience.
Personal skills:
The Site Manager role would suit someone who is:
* Skilled in independently managing tasks and working without direct supervision.
* Computer literate
* Effective at communication both verbally and orally.
Salary and benefits of the Site manager role:
* Up to �45,000 dependant on experience
* Overtime, 30 days holiday, pension, wider group benefits and discounts, private medical and further enhancements
