Position:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee a prestigious project comprising 66 homes for our residential development company. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract opportunity with the potential for further career growth within our organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the construction site, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee onsite health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve any technical or logistical challenges that may arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety records.
- Foster a positive working environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and accountability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role, preferably within the residential construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field.
