Position: Site Manager - Residential

We are looking to recruit a well-rounded individual who is happy to work within a small business. We look to invest into our own people and offer flexibility and progression where we can. In return we ask for someone not only to help out if needed outside their own responsibility’s but to be comfortable asking for help if needed as we work best as a team.
The types of projects we typically work on is 1-10m residential builds/refurb mainly stone built and barn conversions. However, we do also cover commercial properties as well.
Responsibilities: As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our site operations. Your primary duties will include:
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate on-site teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to achieve project goals and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high-quality standards in all construction and operational activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Budget Management: Work closely with the project management team to develop and manage budgets, tracking expenses, and making adjustments as necessary.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process, finding effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
