TD Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Site Manager to work for our client in Bournemouth.
Starting in July, 2 months holiday cover until end of August. Ideally someone with 2-3 years experience in modular building site.
Job duties:
- Manages all Site activities ensuring sites are fully compliant and operating to all applicable HSE guidelines
- Reporting to the Contracts Manager as required
- Ensuring that requirements, as specified by the client and senior management, are met
- Collaborating with other construction project stakeholders as required
- Procuring materials, labour, and equipment, as well as third-party subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure that all Goods Received Notes are secured and handed in to the appropriate location
- Monitoring labour, building material, and equipment budgets and curbing unnecessary expenses/costs
- Preparing work schedules and sequencing onsite tasks
- Maintain Daily Records of site activities and liaise with the Contracts Managers to produce information for Progress Reports
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience managing construction projects for a Contractor
- Proven Ability to monitor construction project budgets and deadlines
- Proficiency in recordkeeping and electronic project management systems
- Experience in relaying detailed instructions to onsite construction teams
- Advanced Negotiation skills to procure cost-effective subcontractors and suppliers
- Ability to closely collaborate with other construction project stakeholders
- Experience of numerous sites of varying complexities.
Start:
July, Monday to Friday, 7:30AM - 17:00PM, 47.5hrs paid/week.
