Permanent, Full Time
Due to the growth and expansion of the Lovell South Wales and West of England region, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join our Development team.
As Site Manager, you’ll support the Senior Site Manager with the construction of our housing project, to ensure construction is completed safely, to specification, within agreed timescales and cost parameters as well as to Lovell quality standards.
You’ll coordinate trades, direct labour and materials and assist the on-site construction team, ensuring it is fully resourced and well directed, with clear guidelines to their own job and responsibilities in terms of communication, training and development and organisation of site workload. You’ll complete weekly planning sheets, to ensure the overall build programme is met and undertake regular inspections, issuing defect sheets to relevant trades.
We’d like you to have extensive site management experience, with detailed knowledge of good trade practice, NHBC requirements and building regulations. You’ll also understand structural principles, road and sewer construction as well as environmental regulations.
