Turnover circa GBP80M Per Annum.

They are looking to recruit a Site Manager to join the business, based out of their office located close to the Western stretch of M25 and walking distance from good train links. Projects
Locations of projects generally in the South and Midlands area, so staying away at times will be required.
Values ranging from GBP8 - GBP40M
Responsibilities
- Managing the daily construction activities on the site and ensuring smooth operation
- Creating daily activity planning and defining necessary site attendances.
- Ordering plant & equipment required on site.
- Call in transports and ensure access and site logistics are well coordinated.
- Supervision of subcontractors, ensure coordination and attendances
- Monitor progress on site.
- Record nonconformities and risks.
- Manage ITP s, inspect, record and report quality issues.
- Ensure Health & Safety practices are followed on site
- Ensure RAMS are updated, maintained, and registered.
- Prepare and conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and standard inspections.
- Coordinate the every-day H&S on site, audit and correct operative s behaviour.
- Action any external H&S audit comments.
- Academic level of thinking and working
- Relevant construction experience; preferably in heavy construction (concrete, steel etc)
- Knowledge and experience with H&S on a UK site,
- Understanding of construction execution,
- Positive, Self-assured and motivated; able to manage operatives on site and communicate clearly
- Productive, flexible and eager to learn,
- A natural leader, motivating and inspiring,
- Willing to travel across the country
- Reporting into a Project Manager
- CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid
