Site Operator/Technician - Anaerobic Digestion

Astute's Renewables team is partnering a leading producer of biogas in the UK, to recruit a Site Operator/Technician for its Nottingham site, to optimise production output, maintenance, and safety across the site.
The Site Operator/ Technician role comes with a salary up to £37,000, company benefits and excellent training and development.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Site Manager you will:

• Be responsible for the daily running of processes and procedures across site.
• Plan and carry out daily operations and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all activities and checks are carried out safely with accurate and up to date documentation.
• Respond to alarms from plant control systems and conduct trouble-shooting and appropriate actions to maintain plant efficiency.
• Feed the plant and manage processes to optimise efficiency as well as operating mobile plant.

Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Level 3 engineering qualification in electrical/ mechanical discipline or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of mechanical works to support various technical site duties.
• Experience in the Anaerobic Digestion industry or a similar agricultural environment is highly advantageous.

Personal skills
The Site Operator/ Technician role would suit someone who is:

• Able to demonstrate excellent health and safety and team working skills.
• Flexible to participate in an on-call rota when required.

Salary and benefits of the Site Operator/ Technician role

• Salary between £34,000 - £37,000.
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
