Job description

Job Title:Site Planner

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10-hour days

Location: Northwich
Job Overview: NRL are seeking an experienced Site Planner to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, along with proficiency in Primavera P6. Experience working on Energy from Waste (EfW) sites, either in construction or operational phases, is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure schedule alignment with project objectives.

  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.

  • Prepare regular status reports, schedule updates, and performance analysis.

  • Conduct site visits to ensure schedule adherence and provide on-site planning support.

  • Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.

  • Utilise EPC methodologies to plan and control project execution, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

  • Facilitate planning meetings and workshops to communicate project timelines and milestones.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Site Planner in EPC projects.

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.

  • Experience working on Energy from Waste (EfW) sites, either during the build phase or operational phase, is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
