How you’ll make a difference

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) plays a critical role within the Cloud Operations Team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of TSBs cloud infrastructure and applications. This role combines operations and engineering to create scalable and highly reliable software systems.

Collaborating with engineering and architecture teams, you’ll plan for future resource requirements, ensuring systems can scale to meet growing demand. You’ll lead the response to incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Working in conjunction with security teams, you’ll implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

What you’ll bring

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and remain calm under pressure during incident response.
• Proficiency in major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security offerings.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation and tooling.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) for managing containerized applications.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and alerting platforms (e.g., Service Now etc) for proactive system management.
