Bristol - Hybrid working - 2 days a week on site

Salary up to £60k per annum

Technet are currently partnered with a leading Banking Software company. The company supplies there market leading software to over 1500 banks, building societies and finance providers

They currently have the need for a Site Reliability Engineer to join there DevOps team to help deliver and improve there high-quality solutions.

• Responsibilities of the Site Reliability Engineer.Improving and Developing across different Domains including Deployment, Security, Automation,observability, recovery and resilience using technologies such as Kubernetes and IAC.
• Deliver high quality solutions in languages like typescript, Golang and python.
• Maintaining the cloud-Native Infrastructure capability through continuous improvement of infrastructure processes and Products
• Monitor and providing support for a wide range of services running within the cloud-native Infrastructure
• Overseeing Patching, Access and incident management
• Ensuring to adhere to standards such as ISO27001
• You will need the following skills to be a successful Site Reliability EngineerPrevious experience working in a DevOps environment
• Strong coding skills with Typescript, Golang, Python and Kotlin
• Understanding of of development best practices and ability to apply them
• Driven to Enhance the organisation and champion impactful solutions
• Skilled in analysing architecture, products and processes
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud technologies.
• It would be great if you had Experience with Managed Kubernetes service such as EKS, AKS or GKE
• Knowledge with monitoring technologies such as Grafana and Prometheus
• Experience provisioning infrastructure using an IAC tool like Terraform
