Site Security Manager

Are you a Security Manager with a proven track record of supervising security personnel and ensuring the safety of premises? Our client in Swindon is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of a Security Manager. This position requires someone with a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.

We are recruiting for a Security Manager to be based at Swindon for our prestigious client.

Rate of Pay:

175 - 195 per day, Monday to Friday 12 hour shifts

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of security guards/resources on a day to day basis to uphold the safety and security of our clients premises based on a construction site.
• Implement and enforce security protocols and procedures to safeguard personnel, assets, and property.
• Liaising with the client about security matters, security issues, security strategy, incident management and provide relevant reporting.
• Conduct adhoc patrols and inspections to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
• Monitor CCTV systems to detect and deter unauthorized activity.
• To maintain first point of contact for Nexus (Fortel) for all security related events on the client site.
• Manage and conduct security risk assessments.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations as required.
• Provide training and mentorship to security staff to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of security-related activities and incidents.
• Adherence to site specific security rules in line with the customer requirements.
• Respectable knowledge of IT is also crucial.
• We may require you to work a varied shift pattern, therefore you will be required to have a flexible approach to the work offered.
• Your own transport will be required to fulfil this role.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Requirements:

• Previous experience supervising security guards is essential.
• Working hours - Monday to Friday over 12 hour shifts.
• Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.
• Proficiency in operating and managing CCTV systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Successful candidate must undergo and clear a Security Check (BS7858).

Preferred Qualifications:

• SIA Door Supervisor licence.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Fire Safety training.
