One of Northern Ireland’s leading construction companies who operate out of their head office in County Down, currently have a requirement for a Senior Engineer to be based on a large-scale education project in Co. Armagh.
With a busy order book and several new contracts due to start, this company specialise in Design & Build Construction, Traditional Build and Project Management Services across a range of Building and Civil Engineering projects within the Public and Private Sectors in both NI and ROI.

Your new role
Reporting into the Contracts Manager, this role will see you as Senior Engineer based on a £50m new build school in Co. Armagh.
Works will include partial demolition of existing school buildings, demolition of the remaining buildings, new campus to include development of new school buildings, refurbishment of the existing chapel, two new grass playing fields, one new synthetic playing field, associated changing pavilion, tennis courts, car parking, dedicated bus parking, landscaping and associated works with pedestrian and vehicular access points.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previous Site Engineering experience in a senior role and be capable in setting out sites and managing labour force, albeit setting out will not be the primary function of the role. Previous experience in medium-large scale commercial construction is preferable. Ideally you will also have experience working on building projects such as steel or concrete frame buildings.
This role is for a motivated individual who can coordinate works and has a strong sense of commercial awareness.
Due to site location, you will be a commutable distance from Co. Armagh.
