Introduction
Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work onsite.
My client is a large defence and engineering consultancy who are currently undergoing a large refresh project and require a Site Supervisor to oversee some of these works.
Ideally you will have experience working on a construction project worth over £50 million and hold either IBOSH or NEBOSH certifications.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the construction projects from inception to completion
- Oversee implementation of CM systems and drive improvement as needed
- Line manage construction managers and construction supervisors
- Ensure relevant pre-construction information and construction phase plans are in place
- Undertake site safety tours and audits
Skills & experience
- Experience working on a construction project over £50m
- Good understanding of UK contractual models and supply chains
- Good understanding of UK H&S requirements
- Experience in either industrial, gas and oil or nuclear industries
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
- Valid Construction skills certification card (CSCS)
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications
