The Site supervisor will work as part of an experience team liaising and reporting to Project Manager with responsibilities for ensuring that construction and installation activities adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to execute project plans efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, implementing safety protocols and conducting regular safety inspections.
- Monitor and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction or installation activities meet the specified standards and regulations.
- Work closely with the project management team to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, especially in the case of renewable energy projects.
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous proven experience as a Site Supervisor
- Sound knowledge of H&S and risk assessment legislation and practices
- Flexible approach to working as busy times could be up longer than standard
- CSCS card
- First Aid qualification
- Full, clean UK driving licence
Desirable
- Industry knowledge and related technical skills
- NEBOSH Construction certificate
