SalaryOur clients seeking two Site Supervisors to join their team for an ongoing project in Seabanks North.
The project involves the reinstatement of an Overhead Line scheme, focusing on the removal of construction materials and restoration of farmland. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations, adherence to health and safety protocols, and effective management of subcontractors.
Location: Seabanks North (Avonmouth), BS11 9YS
Start Date: ASAP Ideally within 1 month
Pay Rate: £200 - £350 per day Umbrella 10 hour working days
Length of Contract: Until the end of October 2024, with potential for permanent position conversion
CSCS Gold and SMSTS certifications required
Key Responsibilities:
~Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings
~Manage subcontractors and oversee their work
~Provide labour tours and ensure efficient utilisation of resources
~Utilize digital platforms for project management (e.g., Site Assist, Build 360)
~Ensure compliance with protocols and eco-friendly methodologies
~Supervise cable protection work and earthworks activities
~Interface with stakeholders, including landowners, for smooth project execution
~Maintain high standards of timekeeping and accountability
Required Skills and Experience:
~Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in civil engineering projects
~Strong knowledge of highways maintenance and lifting operations
~Excellent stakeholder management skills
~Familiarity with earthworks and cable protection work
~Ability to work around heavy plants and manage plant-people interface
~First aid certification (3-day course)
~Familiarity with HSG 47 standards preferred
~Experience as a temp works supervisor desirable but not essential
~CSCS Gold and SMSTS certifications required
~Valid drivers license
