Avolon M&E have an exciting opportunity for a supervisor to join a nationally operating utilities company based in Portsmouth. Working on the Portsmouth Water contract, you will be required to Supervise and monitor the performance of our water teams including special project works. Attending site to maximise day-to-day operations, ensuring the planning of work, control of plant, labour, costs and ensure SHEQ compliance.

As the Site Supervisor your duties & responsibilities will be:

• Project responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of projects.
• Lead and promote a safe zero harm culture.
• Promote industry leading behavioural culture.
• Follow and use Cappagh`s Management Systems and processes to ensure right first-time delivery in a quality-controlled environment.
• Write RAMS, deliver briefings &TBTs, issue & control permits and temporary works on site.
• Manage customers and public impacted by our works.
• Be part of a collaborative team.
• Coordinate document control and design management for your projects.
• Ensure the timely close out of actions arising from internal and external audits.
• Participate in investigations.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant H&S and environmental legislation.
• Promote and drive continual improvement and innovative ideas.
• To lead and motivate & develop group cohesiveness.
• Engage with the client frequently, building rapport and ensuring you have a clear understanding of their objectives and can cascade this to the team.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

• Experience of water infrastructure.
• Experience of deep excavation.
• Water hygiene.
• NRWSA Supervisor.
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• Understanding of Temporary Works.
• Microsoft project experience would be ideal.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel, word and PowerPoint.
