Job description

Job Summary: The Six Sigma Manager plays a pivotal role in driving organizational change and efficiency by analyzing, designing, and implementing strategic initiatives. This position involves overseeing a team of process engineers or Six Sigma officers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and enhance overall operational performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Process Analysis:

   - Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes to identify areas for improvement.

   - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business objectives.

2. Strategic Planning:

   - Develop and implement strategies for business transformation, aligning with organizational goals.

   - Formulate detailed plans to optimize processes and enhance overall efficiency.

3. Process Design and Reengineering:

   - Design end-to-end processes that streamline workflows and reduce bottlenecks.

   - Lead process reengineering initiatives to enhance effectiveness and reduce costs.

4. Change Management:

   - Implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during process transformations.

   - Provide training and support to employees affected by process changes.

5. Technology Integration:

   - Collaborate with IT teams to integrate innovative technologies that support business process improvements.

   - Evaluate and recommend software solutions to enhance operational capabilities.

6. Performance Measurement:

   - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business transformation initiatives.

   - Establish monitoring mechanisms to track progress and identify areas for further optimization.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

   - Work closely with various departments to understand their unique challenges and align process improvements with their needs.

   - Foster a collaborative culture that encourages continuous improvement.

8. Documentation and Communication:

   - Create comprehensive documentation of new processes, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

   - Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in business transformation and process engineering roles.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt trained or certified.

  • Has led organizational and enterprise projects to completion.

  • Has experience working with senior leadership and executive leadership.

  • At least 5 years of experience leading lean, lean Six Sigma projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with process modeling tools.

  • Ability to adapt to evolving business landscapes.

  • Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in implementing digital transformation initiatives. (Agile trained / Certified).

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application in business processes.

  • Strong Leadership and team-building skills to inspire and motivate teams.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to rapidly changing business environments.
