Ski & Sports Manager - Amazing Leisure Company, £40,000 + 25% Bonus + Amazing Benefits, Buckinghamshire Area

Overview of the Ski & Sports Manager:

Reporting into the General Manager the Ski & Sports Manager will have three direct reports. This is a exciting opportunity to work for a cutting edge Leisure Company that are going from strength to strength. This venue absolutely sells itself and the culture of the organisation is fun, dynamic and really forward thinking.

The Ski & Sports Manager position is senior one within the business and you will hold responsibility on a day-to-day basis for the venue's Operational Excellence; People Leadership, Commercials and Health and Safety Compliance.

Ski & Sports Manager Duties:

  1. To provide leadership and direction to all team members and lead by an exceptional standard, exhibiting strong company values.
  2. Provide a duty of care for all team members and apply corrective coaching where necessary
  3. To be fully conversant with and strictly adhere to all health and safety regulations, brands standards etc
  4. Undertake Senior Manager on-duty responsibilities when required
  5. Contribute to the strategic decision making process for the venue; identify commercial opportunities and areas to strengthen cost control.
  6. Ensure the consistency of the standards and cleanliness (including the presentation of all team members) are excellent at all times and in keeping with the company Brand Standards.
  7. Ensure that all team members are thoroughly updated and informed about all company information.
  8. Deliver against targets and objectives set by your Line Manager.
  9. Continuously look for ways to improve the guest experience.

  • Results focussed and able to effectively influence & coach for continuous improvement.
  • Successful candidate must be BASI (National Level 1) certified as a minimum
  • Clear understanding and experience within the leisure or hospitality industry.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence across multiple departments to a high standard
  • Passionate about guest satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
  • A proven leader able to engage, inspire and develop their team.
  • Able to problem solve in a calm, rational manner.
  • Clear communicator and professional operator with high standards.
  • A committed and diligent working style.
