- Marshall Land Systems have announced that they will be moving the Cambridge site to Alconbury Weald (PE28). Planned move will be towards the end of 2025
- Time served as a painter with a proven track record of paint experience.
- To support the Production Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring that all Marshall Land System projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.
- Take an active role in continuous improvements, to include lean and 5s procedures.
- Ensure equipment and tooling required is identified to the line manager.
- Supervision and guidance to other operators within the team, ensuring Paint and Quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure all operators are working in line with Marshall Health and Safety management systems.
- Take a proactive lead in continuous improvements to include lean and 5s procedures ensure a clean compliant work area is maintained at all times.
- Ensure equipment and tooling required is available and maintained.
- Attend and support production meetings.
- Assist the Paint Shop Manager with paint shop performance and Key Performance Indicators.
- Management of Paint shop staff in their daily duties.
- Management of daily time sheets.
- Ensure that history cards are completed at time of work.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping.
- Requisitioning paint and materials for shop floor.
- Completing on-line repair slips, for plant and tool maintenance.
- Timely responses to inspection reports.
- Highlight and manage abnormalities.
- Implement and maintain department processes and systems.
- Liaise with internal suppliers and customers to ensure compliance with programmes.
- Audit spray booths to ensure that they are working at correct time and temperature.
- Experience in commercial vehicle, motor trade and aircraft paint spraying.
- City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent time served.
