Small Works M&E Project Manager

NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting a Project Manager to Lead the overall operational delivery of multiple Small Works and projects at Wembley Stadium, taking into account the safety, technical, commercial and managerial requirements; from bid and pre-commencement through to successful practical completion. 

The Small WorksProject Manager will ensure that profitability is maintained or improved through effective leadership, high quality customer relations and management of relevant support functions allocated to the project.

The successful candidate will have Mechanical Engineering qualifications, competence and expertise across a range of Commercial HVAC Plant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate appropriate Health and Safety leadership to ensure that all business and client safety protocols are in place and utilised.
• Participate in bid activities in conjunction with the work winning team and processes; to ensure a professional, profitable, successful bid which provides agreed levels of turnover and meets customer expectation
• Manage pre-commencement activities in conjunction with the Pre-construction Manager, to maximise opportunities, efficiency and profitability in the delivery phase of the project. Review the project scope of works including installation methods, to ensure the precise provision of the customer’s requirements.

• Working with the Account Director and Commercial Manager, identify and manage project risks and opportunities, ensuring that these are commercially mitigated or enhanced to provide a clear and up to date risk position

• Lead the team to effectively manage the appointed specialist sub-contractors and ensure the work is being carried out safely, to the specification and programme. Develop effective, sustainable relationships with key sub-contractor organisations
• Lead project team to the safe and successful completion of the project/area under control within agreed timescales, agreed budgets and to meet specification and customer requirements; ensuring that the project is closed out in accordance with the requirements of PLAT. Ensure that project defects are closed out in a timely manner to maintain client relationships and project profitability.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONSAND TRAINING

• Mechanical Engineering qualification, competence and expertise across a range of Commercial HVAC Plant
• Knowledge and understanding of working within Facilities Services Sector.
• Electrical systems knowledge and experience
• Industry recognised trade or professional qualification – HVAC related
