Smoke Ventilation Service Engineer

Smoke Ventilation Service Engineerwho has industry experience, installing, repairing and carrying out general maintenance of Smoke Ventilation and fire damper systems at commercial sites is required for a well-established company.

SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + Overtime at Time and a Half & Double Time + Company Van & Mobile Phone

LOCATION: Bolton, Greater Manchester, North West England (You MUST live within 15 Miles of Bolton)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Smoke Ventilation Service Engineerwho has industry experience, installing, repairing and carrying out general maintenance of Smoke Ventilation and fire damper systems at commercial sites

The company are well known in the industry for offering an excellent level of service. They have a wide client base in a number of different industries who hold high standard for maintenance levels.

As an experienced Smoke Ventilation Service Engineer you will have a level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent).

DUTIES

Your duties as the Smoke Ventilation Service Engineerinclude:

• Routine maintenance and service of Smoke Ventilation & fire damper systems at commercial sites

• Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults

• Liaise with clients on site and produce service reports to document work carried out

• Some working from height

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Working at height experience from fixed ladders, access machines

• You will need a Full Clean Drivers Licence (Vehicle provided by the company)

• Overtime available at weekends (paid at double time on Sundays)

• Overnight stop outs are required; therefore, a flexible approach will be needed

• Up to date electrical qualifications. Minimum City and Guilds / NVQ level 3 electrical certificate (or equivalent)

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

• Proficient in both written and spoken English

• Good communication skills

• Good Team player as well as being able to work on own initiative

• Full Clean UK Driving Licence required

• Live within a 15-mile radius of Bolton

• Flexible approach to working hours and travelling away from home when required

• Not essential but ideally will hold any of the following or equivalents, 2391 certificate, IPAF License and/or ECITB Card

DESIRABLE

• A 2391 certificate qualification would be advantageous

• IPAF License

• ECITB Safety Passport or equivalent
