About This Role
We are seeking an impactful and collaborative Senior Finance Manager to support the Technology organization and work closely with the Business Finance team. The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for partnering with the Risk Technology business on all financial matters, communicating monthly performance, forward looking forecasts and budget targets and supporting the execution of the finance strategy. They will also work closely with the business finance teams for Risk to create a collaborative approach to the financials across the two units.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partners with the Risk team within Technology on all relevant financial matters – communicating regularly financial performance and R&O’s
  • Responsible for £33m Cash, £14.8m Opex targets and £1.4m efficiency targets
  • Drives the financial performance and critical metrics, actuals, budget and forecasts.
  • Ensures validation and quality control processes are observed for financial reporting.
  • Collaborates with other Tech and Business Finance teams to deliver quality management information and provides finance support for any projects and investments and run costs.
  • Supports the business in their development of budgets and forecasts, maintaining detailed knowledge and understanding of any business priorities.
  • Lead strategic monthly financial reviews and highlight key risks and opportunities (R&Os) for the business.
  • Develop Performance KPI’s to drive insight and action in the Technology teams.
  • Lead on TCO analysis for Risk – driving performance insight by application to support TCO and PI
  • Leading from a Tech Finance perspective on any M&A activity for Risk Business

The ideal candidate is an experienced finance professional with a proven track record of collaborating with senior leadership teams to drive growth and change in a corporate setting.

The Technology finance team is responsible for driving significant change in the level of data and insight required for the Tech Teams to drive key decisions. Partnering is at the heart of this role – partnering with key stakeholders in both Technology but also Business Finance teams to ensure we effectively communicate the underlying cost base, efficiencies and challenges.
