JobPurpose: To work under the direction of the Unit Manager in order to ensure that the Centre is run in accordance with:

• The provision of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995
• The Child & Young Person’s (Scotland ) Act 2014
• Professional standards of child care practice
• Council Policy

Requirements

Experience in working with children and young people.

A Relevant qualification that is recognised by the Scottish Social services Council or evidence of the ability to undertake training to SVQ level 3 and HNC in Social Care.

Satisfy the criteria for Registration with the SSSC
