SalaryWhat The Job Is: Social Care Worker required for an immediate start to work at our clients Adolescent Residential Home located in Holywood. This is a temporary contract for a minimum of 6 months with possible extension, working 37.5 hours over on a rota basis with a pay rate of £13.84 - £22.14 per hour with enhanced rates for Bank Holidays. The young people who live in the home are 12 – 18 years of age who have challenging behaviours. You will be required to supervise and carry out specific duties as directed to ensure the safety of the young people and help with promoting their growth. What The Job Entails: Updating documentation and logging any calls Liaise with the Home manager and complete the daily record on the young people Driving the young people to appointments in company car Always ensure the safety of the young people What We Need From You: Degree level qualification 1 years experience working with 12 - 18 year olds living in residential care A capability to complete paperwork and update care plan notes accordingly To be Niscc registered, or willing to apply To be willing to attend all mandatory training courses Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access Ni check What We Will Offer You: A minimum of 28 days paid holiday’s (pro rata) Inclusion into our company pension scheme Free Comprehensive and ongoing annual training courses First Choice is an equal opportunities employer
