Social Care Worker

Attuned Programmes Ireland is an organization responding to meet the needs of vulnerable young people through community, residential and aftercare supports and services.
Attuned Programmes Ireland is looking for highly motivated Social Care Worker to join our teams.
We are currently recruiting for Full-time , Part-time and Ad-hoc Social Care Worker positions for our Adult Disability service in Kildare. Our aim is to support and meet individuals where they are at, and to identify and navigate towards positive outcomes in a safe and respectful manner that takes account of their individual needs.
General Job Description:
The successful candidates will be dedicated and highly motivated; they will already possess high levels of competence and will be able to demonstrate this through their qualification and some experience in meeting regulatory requirements, best practice standards and ultimately an understanding of the varied needs of each individual.
The role is to support individuals in developing self-care and independent living skills while helping them to develop the capacity and opportunity to foster independence.
Requirements:
- Candidates for the Social Care Worker Must have a minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Studies in Social Care or Level 7 in Applied Social Studies (Disability) Studies and or a relevant QQI Level 7 Social Care Qualification
- Knowledge of HIQA Standards in Residential Centres
- Proficient communication skills, IT skills, report writing and planning skills.
- This post is subject to Garda clearance.
- A full driving licence is desirable.
