Traynor Furnishings is an expanding furniture business. We are seeking a motivated and driven Social Media & Marketing Assistant to join our team. You will assist the Social Media & Marketing Manager with developing and implementing our Social Media & marketing strategy, creating engaging content.
This role will suit someone who enjoys using Social Media, motivated in teamwork settings and able to follow instructions, then this could be the role for you.
The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Creative Team designing room settings, making Reels & TikToks. They must enjoy working independently.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 1 years experience in Social Media and/or marketing, with a keen interest in social growth and engagement.
Strong understanding of Social Media platforms, algorithms and best practice.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create and edit video content on apps such as Splice or Cap Cut.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and undertake multiple projects simultaneously, quickly identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- Knowledge of design software such as Photoshop, Canva, etc.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and to work independently.
- Ability to plan and adhere to brand design guidelines.
- Good analytical skills with ability to analyse and report on Social Media metrics.
- Innovative and creative thinking, prepared to express opinions and provide insight during Creative Team Meetings.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Ability to confidently Speak on Camera.
- Photography editing and retouching experience
- Knowledge of Video software such as Cap cut/Photoshop
- Ability to understand and interpret feedback with quick turnaround in revisions
The applicant must be able to display that they are:
- Competent in interpreting a brief and presenting ideas/options.
- Up to date with latest trends in Social Media.
