The Employer is: CASHMERE CANDLES. Cashmere Candles, based close to Peatlands Park, just outside Dungannon is looking to recruit a Production Assistant to help with all aspects of the manufacturing of scented candles and other products. As well as the making of products, the applicant must also be able to help with fulfilling online and wholesale orders. As our online presence grows, the ideal candidate will show an aptitude towards digital marketing and online retail. There will be opportunities for selling directly to the customer in-person via craft fairs and as part of the collective at The Argory. The successful applicant must be competent in dealing with customers and handling money.

Good communication skills - able to communicate with customers, potential customers, retail clients and other people in the team.Critical thinking and problem solving - in a small team, everyone is expected to work together and help across all areas of the business and contribute towards problem solving.Being able to work on your own initiative is essential. After training, the successful applicant will be expected to sometimes work in the production studio by themselves at times and will expected to fulfil items to product standard.Teamwork - ability to work well with others, sometimes under pressure.Planning & organisational skills are necessary as there are many different elements to making products. , Experience of managing social media accounts for business is desirable.Knowledge of Shopify and managing an e-commerce store is advantageous.Any previous experience of retail including cash handling.IT skills.Till operations and cash handling will be part of the role. Any experience in this would be advantageous.
