Jarrolds are seeking a dedicated Social Media Executive to lead our digital strategy during an exciting transition period for the business. With exciting plans in the works to develop the brand beyond our flagship London Street department store, this role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our marketing efforts by creating engaging content and fostering online community engagement.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to Jarrolds' digital transformation and play a pivotal role shaping one of Norfolk’s finest brands.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the social content calendar, maintaining brand presence across organic Social Media platforms.
- Lead content creation in collaboration with colleagues in our studio team and external suppliers.
- Establish performance metrics, generate monthly reports, and provide actionable insights.
- Represent Jarrolds in the local community, cultivate influencer relationships, and coordinate collaboration opportunities.
- Collaborate with suppliers and colleagues to gather assets for campaigns, support promotions and to assist in executing advertising campaigns.
- Provide regular feedback to the wider marketing team based on Social Media insights.
Essential
- Integrate digital and social strategies into broader marketing strategy.
- Actively participate in planning meetings for major campaigns.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments through ongoing training and attendance at relevant events.
- Offer flexible support to the marketing team as needed.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A solid understanding of the role Social Media plays in the wider digital marketing mix and a track record managing brands online.
- Creative skills, including photography, videography and copywriting.
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events.
