Job description

Our client offers industry-leading services  to the construction industry. This is a varied role and an excellent opportunity to learn and develop in a successful and well established marketing/communications team.  The role is also newly created, allowing the ability to own this position.  This is a hybrid working role with an expectation of 1 day a week in the office.

Our client seeks an experienced Social Media Manager with strong content writing skills, who is a highly proactive individual with a growth mindset. The ideal candidate loves to innovate, challenge the norm, and put theory to the test. They should have proven experience in content creation and management, specifically in digital marketing or a similar role. Strong Social Media skills to craft and amplify engaging content and build an online community are essential.

Key Responsibilities for the Social Media Manager

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content and Social Media strategy
  • Oversee the content creation process from ideation to publication
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on content, branding and messaging alignment
  • Manage and grow the company's Social Media presence
  • Monitor trends and optimize content using data and analytics
  • Engage with the online community across platforms

Required Skills/Experience for the Social Media Manager

  • Proficiency with CMS, Social Media platforms and analytics tools
  • Excellent writing, editing and attention to detail
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities
  • Creative thinker who can generate innovative ideas
  • Good working knowledge of SEO and content optimization
  • Experience in the construction industry is advantageous
