Form of workMy client is seeking a passionate Social Media Manager to join a growing team, focusing on producing and editing a high volume of social-first video and imagery. You will work with a diverse range of clients, creating engaging content primarily for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and edit social-first content, including video-led content with a UGC style and designed posts for reactive content such as memes or trends.
- Develop a variety of assets, including static, animated, and video posts, from a social-first perspective.
- Contribute to content strategy and educate the team on social content creation and future trends.
- Act as a self-shooting producer, directing video editors and creating engaging content based on social platform analytics.
- Stay updated on new platforms and trends, providing thought leadership within the agency.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in creating and editing social content, especially video, for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and Facebook.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop, and CapCut.
- Deep understanding of online culture, publishing trends, and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience working with a variety of brands or managing the output of multiple content creators.
- Proficiency in shooting content with a smartphone or DSLR.
- Ability to create UGC-led content with minimal studio and lighting setup.
- Creative eye for transitions and shooting styles that can be combined in-app for compelling output.
- Ability to work within brand guidelines and tone of voice while pushing for social-first content.
- Accuracy in subtitling and adding copy to video content.
