About the team
Our specialist Not-for-Profit team provides distinctive audit and advisory services across four sectors – charities, education, housing and pensions.
About the role
- As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will lead multiple audit engagements, overseeing and developing junior staff.
- You will work closely with clients and be committed to providing an exceptional service.
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stakeholder relationships at audited entities and can expect to work with senior level staff.
- You will work closely with Senior leaders upto Partner level
What are we looking for?
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Part Qualified*
- Not-for-Profit sector audit experience or a genuine passion for working in this sector
- Experience of leading external audits from planning through to completion.
- Technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102 and Companies Act
- Experience of managing, training and coaching audit trainees.
- Experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages.
- Technical knowledge of relevant SORPs would be valuable, but not essential.
