Job description

We are seeking a talented Social Video Editor to join our dynamic team at KOMI Originals, a fast-paced role dedicated to providing KOMI’s brands with engaging original content. As a Social Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing content that is suitable for all of KOMI’s brands across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. Your role will involve curating compelling content and enhancing the visual appeal of our videos, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional Social Video. If you have a strong storytelling ability, a passion for creating engaging media, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to have you on board.

  • You have video editing and sound recording knowledge.
  • You have a passion for social media or a background in the industry.
  • You will need to have a good understanding of social media and use various platforms to source relevant and engaging content to appeal to its intended audiences.
  • You will create and edit videos to make compelling 4-minute+ videos with a strong story and narrative, requiring planning and implementation.
  • You will work to targets set by a line manager to increase productivity and output.
  • You will manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is desirable to the audience and are required to have an awareness of industry trends.
  • You will produce creative video edits from voxpops and place videos into a schedule.
  • You will report to your line manager weekly on video performance, with an analysis.
  • You are a quick learner, who is naturally proactive.
