Social Worker - Support Early Intervention Around Mental Health, Ilford

Requirements:
* Social Work England Registered
* Recognized qualification in a specific model of therapy e.g. family therapy, CBT etc.
* Membership of relevant professional body
* Experience of utilising a range of professional skills at post-qualifying level in a child and adolescent mental health setting or educational setting.
NonStop's client is seeking a Social Worker who is passionate about supporting early intervention around children and young people’s mental health within Ilford.
The main duties of the role involve:
* Supervising Education Mental Health Practitioners who deliver low-intensity CBT based guided self-help interventions to children, young people and their families.
* Providing whole school mental health support to school staff and the wider community
* Delivering evidence-based intervention directly to children, young people and their families, both individually and in groups.
Mental Health Support Team sits within a well-established team of Educational Psychologists who are committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people in diverse and often challenging situations. The mental health team offers a consultation model of service delivery which values a systemic and relational approach.
