SalaryAn excellent opportunity has arisen with a global, enterprise level organisation for an IT Software Asset Manager (SAM). The role is responsible for the entire life cycle of all ICT software, this will include deployment, maintenance, upgrade, and decommissioning.
You will be involved in setting up a SAM function; this is the case to really make a difference and establish the SAM policies and processes.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Define, own, and deliver Software Asset Management policies and processes
- Define and deploy new SAM processes across a continually shifting estate involving multiple IT teams and platforms
- Drive continuous improvement using Software Asset Management best practices over the full life cycle of assets
- Develop insight-rich governance dashboards and reporting to support strategic decision making and ongoing optimisation and risk management
- Expert in identifying and improve performance measurement and reporting processes in a large organization
- Build and maintain close working relationships with IT business partners and internal audit teams to ensure alignment to group standards and policies
- Vendor management and escalations
- Build strong relationships with the external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, other major bodies)
- 3+ Years in a similar role within an enterprise level organisation
- SNOW experience
- Experience working with ITAM or CMDB tools
- Experience in developing a ITAM strategy and roadmap
- Experience in creating KPI's that align with CSF's
- ITIL Foundation v3 or v4
- GBP50,000 - GBP60,000
