Software Developer

My client an E-commerce based company located in Speke, Liverpool are looking to add a Software Developer to their team.

Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for the development, design and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing business projects.

Main Duties:

The range of duties of a Developer is wide and will be expected to include:

• Work within a team on all phases of the software lifecycle including analysis, design to

• deliver functionality, testing and support.

• Deliver projects on time within a tight deadline.

• Write clean, efficient code and debug software.

• Collaborate with internal teams to design software architecture and write clean and scalable code, following coding standards.

• Integrate software components and third-party programs.

• Propose technical solutions and troubleshoot issues.

• Support, maintain, debug, and upgrade existing software.

• Use version control systems and development tools.

• Participate in Agile methodologies and ensure software quality.

• Provide adequate software support using ticketing systems.

• Mentor Junior staff as required.

Role Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software Developer or application developer.

• Familiarity with the .NET framework, and design/architectural patterns

• Knowledge and understanding of Visual Studio IDE.

• C#, VB.net, Java, JavaScript programming languages.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, GraphQL and other types of APIs.

• Understanding of Unit Testing.

• Strong Knowledge of GitHub.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge and understanding of SQL.

• Prepared to learn new skills and develop experience.
