AddressOur client is searching for a Software Developer for a hybrid position based out of their head office in Speke. This role is responsible for the development, design, and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing business projects.
Main Duties:
- Work within a team on all phases of the software lifecycle including analysis, design to deliver functionality, testing and support.
- Deliver projects on time within a tight deadline.
- Write clean, efficient code and debug software.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design software architecture and write clean and scalable code, following coding standards.
- Integrate software components and third-party programs.
- Propose technical solutions and troubleshoot issues.
- Support, maintain, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Use version control systems and development tools.
- Participate in Agile methodologies and ensure software quality.
- Provide adequate software support using ticketing systems.
- Mentor Junior staff as required.
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Software Developer or application developer.
- Familiarity with the .NET framework, and design/architectural patterns
- Knowledge and understanding of Visual Studio IDE.
- C#, VB.net, Java, JavaScript programming languages.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, GraphQL and other types of APIs.
- Understanding of Unit Testing.
- Strong Knowledge of GitHub.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of SQL.
- Prepared to learn new skills and develop experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
