Overview:
We are looking for a bright, creative, self-motivated, eager to learn individual with a passion for coding! Along with the academic skills and qualifications you will gain at college, you will also gain a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of the Software Development cycle, along with essential software support and business skills.
During your apprenticeship training you will work on assignments of increasing complexity.
Our offices are based in the centre of Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire in a recently renovated modern building with excellent transport links. We offer a friendly, relaxed working environment with a competitive salary.
Salary:
£14,000 per annum.
Duties:
The role will include:
- Learning and understanding project requirements
- Software design, development and testing
- Learning to diagnose and fix software faults
- Integrating with third party solutions
- Writing accurate technical documentation including unit tests & release notes
- Maintenance of existing software solutions
- Providing 1st and 2nd level software application support
- Maintain excellent customer relationships
- General office duties

Entry requirements:
7 GCSE's total:
- English GCSE grade D or above
- Other 6 GCSE's, including Maths, to be C or above
- You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Hours of work:
32.5hrs per week,
9am – 4.30pm, Monday – Friday.
